Peak Oil
Are we nearing the end of oil? There are strong believers on both sides - those who believe we are nearing a catastrophic end, and those who believe that there is ample oil left to keep it going for at least 200 years.
No matter what the truth is, it is obvious we need to lessen our dependency on oil - for the sake of life on earth, to lessen the wars over it, and to gradually cause the earth to stabalize population growth, because it is oil - and its byproducts - that supports the constant population growth on the planet and destroys the planet at the same time.
The question is: will the oil cartel tell us the truth about Peak Oil if and when it happens, or will they squeeze every last cent out of our pockets and then watch the total collapse of societies everywhere which did not have warnings about the oil peaking?
Is the current rise in gas prices due to Peak Oil, refinery problems, the cartel playing games with our money, or the cartel raising prices because of increased demand? fromthewilderness.com is a respected site of articles and gathered information from around the world that is adamant about Peak Oil. But there are other sources that claim we have secret sources of huge oil fields, that the earth has an unending supply of "abiotic" oil, and now Chevez claims that he has a larger oil field than Saudi Arabia.
No matter what the truth is, it may be wise to become as self-sufficient as possible, because if oil is not peaking, the privitization of utilities, the cartel raising prices, the strange weather, chemtrails, droughts, water problems, the eminent crash of our economy, corporations controlling our lives and our world, and the globalists very handily getting rid of the middle class here in the United States - could make our very survival difficult. On top of that, it may be almost impossible to find organic food because the corporatocracy is taking over organic farms, and they will not have to label food as GMO. Monsanto is developing seeds that do not self-propagate, so this will force farmers to purchase seed every year. We eventually will need to be chipped to be able to purchase any food. This is obviously beyond evil, and I'm just sayin' - it can't hurt under these circumstances to plan ahead for some very bad situations.
